A little neighbourhood in your pocket.
Open your phone and step across the street.
Across the Street is a gentle game about noticing what your neighbours need, and making a little room for each other. Ada plays piano upstairs and secretly wishes someone would play back. Bea practises behind a closed door. Omar mends things. Mina bakes while everyone else sleeps. And Pip the cat has wandered off.
Nobody here needs very much. Just a little noticing.
Find ordinary things a place, like a blanket that smells of home, a patch kit, a table or a music stand, and watch a street become a neighbourhood. Around the corner, the fountain square is full of people to say hello to, and Sofia's picnic needs a spot where everyone fits, Sofia included.
Three chapters follow the neighbourhood from a first hello to one long evening together: rain on a painter, wind for a kite, sparrows looking for somewhere safe to land, and paper lanterns that light Ada's way to the square after dark. Each adventure leaves something behind, from a smudged painting to pinwheels spinning in the breeze.
